If Content Is King Why No One Is Looking At Yours?
In Writing
We all have heard about this phrase and we all respect the content. This is not without reasons. People love content. Search Engines love content. Whole concept of internet has always revolved around the great content.
You could fool search engines earlier by metatags and keywords. But no more. Every one is shedding its dependency on the accessory stuff and is looking at the king itself.
The content.
When you start a blog and put in your content on regular basis, you build a good website that people should come, read and link to.
But things do not happen that way.
To your surprise you would also find that people visit in droves to the websites with almost similar content or message. They ignore yours as if it does not exist.
There is no reason to become disappointed. It is the usual game of growth.
There is one missing link.
Your Reputation.
Internet especially blogging is a community. People who have been there already are more trusted than some newbie who echoes same voice.
If your chosen niche is unique and you some how come as qualified to speak in that niche, then it is different altogether. Otherwise you would find yourself ignored for long time.
How to go about building a reputation?
marketing, networking, syndicating. Expose yourself to as many people you can.
Build links, exchange links, link to good articles by other people.
Add a personality to your writing.
Let your content be a communicating king rather than a talking king.
People would definitely recognize you in due course.
