WordPress 3.0 Arrives – Wait Before Upgrading

It was such a nice surprise to see the alert in my dashboard when I opened  the dashboard today. There are major changes in the new theme and one of the most noticeable is the new theme called “Twenty Ten”

For Theme developers have new APIs allow east allow them to easily implement custom backgrounds, headers, shortlinks, menus without file editing, post types, and taxonomies.

To a user, it provides  the new lighter interface, the contextual help on every screen, the  bug fixes and feature enhancements. Theere is an option of plugin upgrade where you can update 15 plugins at once with a single click.

Please check your theme and plugin compatibility before you click to upgrade.

I would wait. I would see how things are behaving. I have had burns in the past, therefore I am not interested in immediate upgrade.

I suggest you to do the same. Do not hurry just because you want to grab it. Have patience. Le tit be more tested and let the solutions of problem if any surfaces, come.

I am eager to see it but I do not want to risk the time I could spend on business building.
