Ever heard of Ranknoodle.com . It is a new search engine and claims to be different.
And it is.
It is a search engine that display web result for your search phrase, related search phrase conversation, related articles, images, and videos in one searched page.
Search is the hard truth of today’s world.
We are always searching for one thing or another. Search on the internet has a special place. That is why search engines have such a prominent position on internet. Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask.com are well known search engines.
Almost every search engine is capable of providing information for the query we type in its search box. But as the internet changes, users not only want the links to information but also comprehensive information on related content. Therefore it is always a good idea to make search results reliable, relevant, informative, meaningful, and optimized.
This is not possible with mere algorithm. It needs human monitoring and stearing. This is what exactly Ranknoodle promises.
When you type search query into search box of RankNoodle.com, it is not only weblinks that it displays, it also brings a lot of other related things. When I search for “internet business“, it begins with detailed explanation of what internet business is. Then it follows with recent conversation on what internet business. These are in form of questions and answers.
Following this are the web links. Weblinks are sorted by their relevance. You can increase or decrease relevance of the link by voting for or agains tit.
THere is a column on right hand side where Ranknoodle would list articles , images and videos related to my search internet business.
I liked this feature very much. You get all the resources on the web on one page.
I also searched for the term”search engine” and was surprised to see the huge list of search engines that Ranknoodlewould be competing against.
They also list on their home page a list of recent searches and hot searches.
A drawback of this engine is slow loading of the pages. Probably this is due to images and videos. I hope they get better with time.
They need to work on their “äbout us” page too. It lies blank.
Is it another Google in making. I doubt it. But Ranknoodle is going to possess fair share of the market in coming times.
I liked their concept and have bookmarked it for repated use.
