Domain Name registration and web hosting is a very competitive business. While you might be aware of big players, their are others who are less known but offer equally good packages.
I recently came across domainexpress.uk which offers domain name registration and web hosting plans.
First thing I noted was that they charge in Euros. While they claim to charge most competitive price the difference is not very substantial from what is current market trend. Of course, they are much cheaper than enom and other high priced registrars. But other registrar are also offering almost similar prices.
They are charging £6.99 for .com anmes £2.99 for .co.uk names. What I liked was that when you search for a domain name they also come with good suggestions for domain names.
They have three kinds of web hosting plan and this time I had to agree that their prices are quite cheap.
Beginner- £0.99/m
Home £1.99/m
Business £3.99/m
The three plans are designed keeping in mind needs of different market segments. You can either pay quarterly or yearly for Home and Business packages but for beginner package you can only pay yearly.
They accept all major credit cards and debit cards eg MasterCard, Visa, Switch and Delta etc.
They also accept Paypal.
