Business Microsegmentation- How To Apply It To Your Online Business
It is essential to define the target audience for any business. This is also true for online business. If your business operates in a tight, restricted and focused market, it is a privilege.
But may a times a business caters to multiple subgroups of the target market or you want to project a different angle to your business for each target subgroup.
Within your defined market you would want your online marketing action to reach more than are specific group of people.
Or even if you have a tightly focused group, you may want to increase your product range, each focusing on different group.
In such cases you should divide your market into many different ‘microsegments’.
After you have done this you have two choices
- You can decide to cater these audiences simultaneously
- You can prioritize these audiences

This option is desirable when you want to cater international populations. Creating a multilingual website would help you to get more customers and establish your brand at the same time.
