For past few years, online business has come into vogue. Every other person wants to come online and make fortune.
Fueled by hype that surrounds the online business, people somehow mistake online business for quick and big money.
I am not sure what opinion do you hold about online business. Depending upon that what follows may affirm or shatter your concepts.
Is Internet Business Synonym with Quick Money
Fortunately or unfortunately, it is not.
Not at all.
Look! Internet business is just like any other business. It requires input in terms of time, money, thoughts and vision.
If you think that you can put a website on Sunday and start earning three Sundays later, it is going to be highly unlikely.
In that case, you need to revisit the facts.
(When I say this, the statement applies to person when you are just starting first website. When you become a seasoned marketer you can pull enough strings to earn within hours of launch. )
Things Take Time
There are a lot of things that you need to learn when it comes to internet marketing or online business. This applies to almost every niche.
You need to learn how to run your website and the related chores.
That takes time.
You need to understand create a business out of your web site. That takes time.
So forget about quick cash.
Is It Worth It?
Just think about it. You are in a job right now. Is it worth it.
Think about the amount of work you had to invest in it.
- School education
- College education
- Professional skill learning
Plus just count the other prices you pay regularly
- Work against your wishes (Unless your wishes are in sync with your boss’s)
- Commute daily
- Fear of laying off especially in recession
- Rising cost of living not supported by your current income
- Meager payraises year after year
An online business would demand 2-4 hours per day. It can be started at a cost of $70/year and would start giving you income by end of six months to year.
And if you put in real hard work, you might earn more than your current job.
If this may happen would you be willing to try it.
Even if there was 5% possibility.
I know it was enough for me to jump in and I can vouch that anybody can do it. All you need is determination to succeed.
I am not from a business background and being a doctor I am happy to serve people. For that I still work in a hospital. Why am I doing this?
I must admit it started as a fun adventure. I just wanted to see if it was true. Then I got the idea and decided to build my own online asset.
There opens a new stream of opportunities once you start it.

What is The Investment Involved
There are many models that you can follow when you begin. The amount of investment in terms off time and money vary with each model.
The easiest and almost risk free method that I advocate is to start a blog to make money.
It is ridiculously simple model and it is the cheapest I can think of.
But you need to work on your business to grow it and you need to be prepared for it.
What Are The Risks?
There is risk of failure as we noted before. But a failure doe not mean that you would not succeed next time.
The amount money needed to start a new online business is so small that it is hardly any risk.
Apart from these there are hardly any risk.
It is up to you to decide if online business in its true form is for you or not.
