Adsense Revamps Link Units

If you an Adsense publisher you already must know what a link unit is and using it on your blog. Link units are a different type of ad format which display a list of topics relevant to the content of your page. When a user clicks on a topic, we’ll show a page of related ads and you’ll earn from valid clicks on those ads.

Link units with some publishers perform quite well and if you are not using it till now Google gives you anew reason.

Google Adsense blog has reported that link unit ads have been revamped and now are much better than before

It claims to have rewritten link unit matching system completely.

The new system not only uses more sophisticated topic ranking algorithms but also continuously optimizes by learning which topics have the most appeal to the visitors of your site.

Google Adsense blog claims that  topic quality, user response rate to topics and ads, and monetization metrics have all improved in significant, measurable ways.
If you are already using Link Units see if claimed improvements make you more money. If you do not use them it might a good time to start.
