What A Click Could Lead To

This morning I did something off the routine. I checked my mail. My usual routine is to write an article in the early morning for my websites. depending upon the length of the article, I write 1-3 articles in the morning before I get ready for the hospital.

I check mails and other stuff after I am ready to go to hospital.

There is a reason to this and this routine has been established with deliberation.

The first thing I used to do before I maintained this routine was to check my mails, stats and earning records.

That gave a kick when things were good and caused disappointment when they were not.

In either case, these finished my morning hour without any productivity.

So I decided to change.

Today, I made a mistake again.

I was eager to see a mail from some one so I opened the inbox.

The intended mail was not there but there was another that caught my intention.

As I opened that mail and read it, I clicked a hyperlink it suggested.

Before I knew I had spent 25 minutes on the work I did not intend to do.

Distraction destructs.
