Distribution Of Press Release

It is important to write regular news about your site and submit them to various news channels. You must be careful when selecting your channels for release.

Until you have a very big website, local and small media should be your first choice when it comes to submitting a release.

You can send your press releases in both offline and online places. Offline places can include local newspapers, trade journals, industry-specific magazines, radio shows, and television shows.

Online you can choose to submit news to various online press release services. To get the list you can search for them in your favorite search engines. Many of them are paid services but quite number of them also offers free submission services. You can choose between paid and free depending on you budget.

Paid submission generally means higher exposure as compared to limited submission in which news is submitted to limited websites

You must send your press release to the right persons in order to increase the chance of having your story published.

For offline newspapers, look through the chosen newspapers and identify the reporters who cover events or activities have content similar or related to your website. You can identify the reporters by the article’s byline.

Next step is to find how that person and newspaper would like to receive news. Some prefer fax, others email and so on.

Most of the online websites require you to open an account with them before you can submit your release with them.
