There is a large failure rate for businesses on net. As high as 95% of the businesses fail. Though these figures are scary and dissuading, a closer look would reveal that majority of those 95% never tried hard.
Let us accept the facts. you got to work to make a success and that means lot of work.

Not Devoting Time
Any business requires to be set up, maintained and grown. That requires daily work to be done. If you are not devoting time to your business, it is not going to bear fruits.
Not Learning Technial Skills
You need to take care of your website, you need to write articles and there are so many other chores which require you to be well verse with knowledge. if you do not learn, you are not helping your business.
Lack of Business skills
These skills are different from technical skills and need to to be learned as well. Not learning how to market or make sales is doing an Harakiri.
Loose Focus
You must maintain focus in everything you do. your website must be focused on a niche, you articles must focus on content related to your website and your efforts must be focused on growing your business. It is so easy to get distracted for one reason or other. If you maintain your focus it is easier to channelize your energies for business growth.
Call It Quit Quick
You need to stay to succeed. You may feel occasional setbacks and disappointments but you must overcome them. Remember! it is game of perseverance rather than anything else.
