In Pursuit Of Money…

…….Do Not Forget Life

It was an evening like this when I thought of getting rich and accumulate a lot of wealth. The idea was ignited by a friend who sad that he was planning to retire by 40 years of age. His aim was to have a balance of 10 million bucks.

I liked the idea very much but I did not want to follow what he was doing. Our fields are wide apart and have no similarity.

He is an instructor and personal improvement trainer. He often travels frequently all over India to make lectures.

While he has good monthly revenue generated, I detest the way he slogs. He is tied to his work and have no other thing in his mind.

We have studied together and I have shared some greatest moments of my life with that person. We often talk now but find that his quest for money would stem in every now and then.

He works so hard that it is taking toll on his health. He hardly has time for his family. But he is blind to the facts. While he would have easily achieved his old target in another year, he has multiplied it by 10.

Now he wants 100 millions before he quits.

In pursuit of money, he is loosing many great joys that life could bring.

Recently, I decided that I would start my private practice after I complete my residency. In medicine there is a lot of money in PP.

But I quit in 6 months. It did bring money but I was not ready to pay the price it was asking for.

I was on call 24 hours in a day. There was no respite. I could not move out of town for a day.

In last part of my tenure as private practitioner, I started getting restless. While I had a steady increase in my patients, I also started working late. Odd time visits to the hospital also increased. I was becoming successful but I also had little time for me.

One day I sat and thought that if this continued for a year or so, I would be working from 6 AM to 11AM for rest of my life, earning a handsome figure but chined o my work. I could not visit a friend at leisure and I could not take an hour off for my family.

In that model, success meant morework.

While I love to make money I do not want it at a cost of lifetime labour.

Which is why I was attracted to internet business.

I presently workin a government hospital, have a job that is from 9-4 andI work 2-3 hours per day on my PC. I can have flexible schedule.

I am making money and am very comortable doing it. Beauty is tht asI get more successful, I would be working less.

Is not that worth your hardwork?
