I must admit that I have stayed mostly away from social sites except for the accounts on one or two sites where I sporadically connect with old friends.
I have not pursued social sites with an intent to brand and promote my business.
There are many reasons for that.Initially , the concept took a little time to be understood. When I finally got that, I came to understand that if I need to use the social sites effectively for business, I need to invest a substantial time on regular basis.
Therefore, the thing kept lying on To Do List in want of time.
This year, apart from other things, I decided to increase my social activity in an effort to promote my website.
It has been my observation that when you start start a new project, it is the initial learning curve and chores that take most of the time.
After you learn the tricks and master the activities, things become easier. The same amount of activity can be done in much less time.
So realizing that it was already too late to jump, I finally picked up the To Do List and ticked socializing. 
Why Socialize?
Because for each and every success apart from private victories such as developing good habits, people matter.
There is no better place than social sites if you want to connect plentiful.
How Would I Use These Social Sites
As for as I understand the subject, social sites are primarily a place for interaction. Business gain if any come as a result of building relationships.
That is what I am going to concentrate upon.
I am concentrate on providing and sharing. I might be information or it might be something free that I disocover or offer.
