Most of us come to net thinking that there is a quick money and I would be rich and retired six months down the lane. It is not totally our fault either.
Online money making is so hyped and exaggerated that you hardly find truth now a days. Yes! It is a profit driven industry that helps you to get accustomed to money making procedures. But the sad fact is that most of the tellers are used to distort the facts and manipulate the language in the name of copywriting.
What you are presented to you is hyped up, pumped up lies in garb of secrets and tricks.
And we are responsible too.
We are so eager to make a quick buck that we forget basics. We often look for secret that would make us rich.

Barring few exceptions who rose very steeply, money making on the net is a process and it is not instantaneous.
You must invest time to read, to learn, and then to give your business everything you’ve got. You must get your lessons, study, practice, and then earn.
When I say lessons, I mean right kind of lessons, not that sugar laced secrets and tricks lessons.
Even if you want a miraculous rise, you need to prepared for the opportunity. You need to be first to capture a niche for the meteoric rise. But then to understand and identify that market, you must have knowledge of how things work?
Do not wait for the miracle.

I totally agree with you – making money online is a process.
What I like the most about making money online is that you are always learning new ways to do it – each day I learn a new way that I can make money or a new way to market my site.
Even seven years into it, I am always learning something new – it sure beats working a job where you do the same thing each and every day.

It is strange to see people chasing secret once you realize the truth.
But then people do not want to leave ‘Chase of Secret Mentality’.
Agreed, its so easy to be pulled in by the hype, myself included. There is also so much information out there that will overwhelm a lot of people trying to earn online then you get information overload and then, for a lot of people, they quit and its sad. My tip is to find someone who earns a living online and talk with them, follow what they do and most of all, don’t believe the hype!
