We live in an era of information overload. With internet being around it is so easy to jump from one place to other in search of information. There are clicks and there are hyper clicks. Millions and millions of websites host content to provide you in depth information on everything. Today information travels at a speed faster than light. Within minutes of any news or information you have it all over the places. Then you have reviews, analysis, comments, counter comments and arguments to bomb your mind with look from every angle and aspect.
Not only there is abundance of information but we also tend to consume more than we require. We repeatedly listen to the same news on different channels. We tend to visit multiple sites to look for same piece of information and their related responses.
Most of the times we do not need what we look at. A colorful image, an interesting headline or some free offer is enough to make us click the link.
When you are building an online business, you will come across so many offers, $free offers, news, views, reports, guides, audios, videos, seminars, teleseminars, teleconferences, forum posts and so on. Everybody is offering you some information free or at a price.
But before you click the download or buy button, stop and ask yourself – “Do I require this”?
Most of the times we are about to buy the same old information in a new packing.
Just having access to new information will not make you successful. You need to act upon the information you already know.
Believe me! if you have not exhausted and fully used what you already know you will not make any use of the new information you are about to read or download. Try first whatever is in your hand rather than hunting for new miracle information.
Because there is none!
To get high you need to drink. If you gargle you won’t get high.
Simple!
You may keep reading and be more informed but your business will not move until you act. To succeed you must act. There is no excuse.
It is important to know. But it is more important to act. If you do not know you will fail. But if you know and do not apply that knowledge, still you will fail.
