Come To My Site And Join This Program

I know you must be wary about the post title.

No! I am not inviting you to join any program.

But I do feel that way when  visit a number of sites.

The web is full of such sites.

These sites are kind of referral banners, if I may call them.

They have nothing better to offer than join this program and join that program.

I feel silly after reaching there. What a waste of hyperclick and my few minutes.

I am sure you have been to one of such places.

We are discussing them today because I want to stress on the fact that it is not  good idea to build your business that way.

It is easy to build these kinds of websites. All you need to do is copy your affiliate code and publish it on the site.

You may be able to get some clicks on them after you build traffic but it is not a sustainable business model and you are not going to get a repeat visit because you were never in mind of the customer.

All you did was to  provide a diversion.

Why should you be remembered?

Your website did not offer any value to your visitor to stay longer.

Let us remind ourselves that people look for information and opinions on the internet.

It might be information for research purpose, information for knowledge or information on a product. Every time somebody is looking for a solution when she comes to your site.

After someone has arrived to your site, your site can serve her with two methods.

Either it provides the answer or it provides the path to answer. The path to answer may be either a new website or a book or ebook.

Sometimes that may not happen. The visitor may not get what she wants rom your site. But she might be interested in other stuff your site has info on.

Good thing. You made your visitor stay.

That is how your website should be treating your visitors. Otherwise they would go to someone who does that.

She might decide to follow your writings and she might pay regular visits because she likes what you say.

She might be a website owner herself and she might hsare your website on her blog or forum.

That brings you more visitors.

As a business blog owner, our aim should be to provide information to the people.

Yes! We are in business but you would earn money only when you have visitors that buy from you or your recommendation.

You cannot have enough sales by the stick the banner and let them click model.

You would still want people to join your programs but instead of making it bold and only statement of your site, let it remain on background. When you have a reputation, it is far easier to earn money and in much larger volume by this.

Just focus on providing value on your site. Everything else follows.
