Blogging in the present era conveys a lot of meanings. It could be journal that one keeps, it could be a platform for business or personal site or it could be a company’s endeavour to build better PR.
Blogging is just a medium. It depends what you want to do with it.
Many people launch a blog and start believing that they are in business. That is not quite true.
Yes! blogging is a medium to build your business but until you equip your blog with necessary elements that a business requires, you are just blogging and not doing any business.
By business we mean the set up that would cause the visitors to buy your or affiliate products or click ads that bring revenue to you.
It does not matter whether you earn through product sale or ad clicks.
It is important that you have a set up to maximize the revenue.
When you a have a setup that provides you with revenue on constant basis, you are in business.
Till then you are just blogging.
Do not get me wrong. I do not mean to dissuade anybody. We all go through same learning curve.
We are newbies, bloggers and entrepreneurs. The journey is almost same for everyone.
I just wanted to highlight the differences.
As a blogger one should try to create a business system. It would depend on how you want to monetize your blog.
