Internet marketing world is always bubbling with new products. No I used wrong word. It actually explodes everyday with some or other product.
Attractive and promising products.
With eye catching graphics!
Enticing sales letters!
Mountains of promises!
Army of affiliates promising and pushing their own bonuses to make the package even more magnetic.
Plus there are well orchestrated talks in the forums, well thought and executed posts in the blogs to create a frenzy.
The media too covers it like anything.
So that you see it everywhere. It seems that whole internet is talking about it and swearing by everyone they worship and know.
To add insecurity to the temptation, there are marketing tactics like limited number of sales or deadlines.
Seeing all this you scratch your head and wonder if you are loosing by not buying the product.
In a moment you click that buy button, pay and download the access.
And then one of the following things happens
- The product you bought needs time to learn & execute and you defer it till you have time.
- It was a business expansion move but you never imagined the thing would take so much of your time. you either do not start or do not maintain the project.
- It was an ebook that you thought would enhance your knowledge but it did not.
- The ebook was good but you never read it. It kept lying on your hard drive.
- It was a software that promised multitude of works but no one talked about the time involved.
What a waste!
It is people’s business to take out products. They aim to profit from it. I am not against buying products. There are plenty of good products and I also have bought few of them. What I am talking here is about the hyped products that you do not need.
Sometimes we buy the product because features look attractive on Sales letter and you get hooked on it. When that happens the need for buying is not searched. we just buy the product.
How good looking the product may be but you do not need that it is waste of money.
So next time when frenzy forces your temptations ask yourself if you really neede that!
