Want To Earn without Investment-Start A Blog

Today I am going to five a formula which others would happily charge few good dollars to share.

I got an email from a person today. His name is Anand Goswami and he lives in Banglore. He works for a company from 9 to 5, six days a week. He is interested in earning money on internet but he does not want to invest yet. He asked me whether there is a way to convince himself that he can earn money on the internet.He wants to believe it but his mind raises doubts. So he asked if he could first make some bucks before he can go full swing.

In my view Anand needs more time to realize the potential and quell his fear of failure.

It needs to be understood that your results are based on efforts that you are ready to put. Every business requires basic structural framework to run and internet business is no exception. Even if you keep it bare minimum, you need a domain name, you need a hosting to publish your website, sales letter, graphics and a product to start. Add to this autoresponder cost for list building that would give you huge leap in the coming times. You can skip paid advertising for a while but surely you would like to add that too as your business grows.

But if Anand wants to convince himself, he can. Earlier it would have been difficult but with advent of blog it is possible. It may not earn him thousands but it can easily make him reasonable money without spending a dime.

What should Anand do?

First he should go to blogger.com and open a free account. This would take care of his domain name and hosting problem. Blogger doe everything for him.

Suppose Anand has pretty good information on time management for the persons in office jobs and he would like to start a blog on this.

After he opens an account on blogger.com, he would need to create a blog name. Time Management For Office Goers is a pretty good name and his web address would look like timemanagementforofficegoers.blogspot.com. This is because his blog is hosted at blogger, blogspot.com would be added in the end. Not a pretty thing in business not to have your own name but for a while this will do.

Then he can choose from various web site design options called template and his blog is ready to accept his articles.

Now everyday without fail, Anand should write an article for that blog. It needs not be long. But it should contain information taht his target audience i.e. office goers can use.

Next step is announcing and advertising his blog. He can tell his friends and family. He can simply add signatures in his email that contain link to his blog. He can also use the free promotional methods given at blogger site also.If he is diligent he would start building his visitors.

There is a unique feature inbuilt in blogging platform. Every time Anand writes and posts his article, it sends a ping to various services that blog has been updated. This brings in more visitors. So more he writes, more people visit his blog.

Let us come to the part where Anand can monetize his blog.

Easiest option is to apply for Google Adsense account. It is free seervices and after his application is accepted, which is the usual case if Anand maintains his blog well, he can post the adsense code on his blog. This code can be got after he logs into his adsense account. Doing this would display the ads by Google which match the content in Anand’s site.

Anand gets a commission when somebody clicks one of those advertisement.

He can also apply for affiliate programs concerning the products on time management. A nice place to begin is clickbank.com. He displays the affiliate link to those products and when somebody buys through those links, Anand gets paid a commission.

Anand has not invested any money till now. But if he is persists, he would soon start making good money which would definitely convince him the potential and ability.

As his blog grows, he can explore more revenue options. When he is fully convinced he can get his own domain and hosting to perform better.
