7 Greatest Web Designing Mistakes
Web designing in simple terms can be understood as web pages that loads fast, good to look at, user friendly and full of good content. Still there are a lot of web pages that you do not even want to look at. Look of your web page is the first thing that would make impression upon your visitors.
If your web page does not look reasonably ok, people are not going to take pains to have a look at the content.
This may happen with your page oo if you have following things
Heavy Graphics
Too many graphics cause increase in duration in which the web page loads. Your goal should be to create clean, safe and light pages.
Poor Color Choices.
Color of your website should be pleasant. it should not pinch the visitor and make him uncomfortable. You don’t want to turn people away just because they have trouble reading the text on your site. Choose a set of colours that suits your website and go fo it. Do your research!
Plethora of Animation
Animation distracts the reader from main text.
Browser Compatibility
If your pages are not browser compatible, the browser would break you page or distort it. Always check out your site by viewing it in the main browsers like Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox, and Opera.
Poor Navigation
If I need to find how and where to click, I am gone. So would be every other visitor. Check you site’s navigation and all the links occasionally.
No Contact Me
Make sure the contact information on your site is kept current and complete.
Stale, Not Updated
Your website should be updated regularly. you need to modify with the times and with any other change that reflects a change in your mission. Adding new products and content is a sure way to update your site.

For graphics I always try to stay under 200kb for the homepage, subpages can be larger. If a client can’t afford high speed, they can’t afford SEO
