HostGator To Become Domain Registrar

There is a news [undated but recent] posted on Hostgator blog that the webhost company is taking steps to become a full fledged registrar.

I, till now have registered all my domains at GoDaddy and I have no qualms about them.

My websites are hosted with Host Gator.

I might want to switch if the services are good.

Microsoft Office 365 – The Office In The Clouds

There is a war in the clouds.

Microsoft has released a beta of its new and improved online productivity suite, Office 365. The service intends to put together Microsoft Office, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online and Lync Online in an always-up-to-date cloud service.

It would not be free but would be well priced.
It comes in two editions, small business and enterprise.

Presently, the application is in beta andis expected to be released in final form in 2011.

Yes! Google has launched its own operating system Chrome. It is in pilot phase yet but is expected to appear with standard notebooks very soon.

Google Chrome operating system is posed again Linus and Windows.

It is hailed as most secure and most web ready operating system.

Google is said to be preparing to distribute mobile devices to small businesses in US allowing customers to check-in to these venues. This service is thought to be produced with intent to compete with location-based services already out there like Foursquare, Facebook Places and Yelp.

Twitter has rolled out a new look on the Twitter which would be made available incrementally worldwide.

A new, re-engineered Twitter.com to provide an easier, faster, and richer experience.

On the site, you’ll see the familiar timeline, yet underneath each Tweet is a handful of information, deeper context and even embedded media. Simply click on an individual Tweet and a details pane slides out on the right and reveals this content.

Google To Launch TV

Google plans to launch its Google TV platform next year. This was declared in a closing keynote at the IFA technology trade fair in Berlin.

Google also conducted a demo. The new TV platform aims to bridge the gap between internet and TV. The new platform would allow search and internet surfing as well.

Well! That is something great to look forward to.
