There could not be a better time to begin my postings again at which I have been failing in spite of best of intentions. Once again I can become student of internet business and share my experience and knowledge with you [I have not done that for past 5 months]

Last post of mine seems like an April Fool Day’s joke. Well it was not. I was really supposed to come back soon.
But I could not.
I would not say lack of time. It was flurry of urgent and pressing other activities of my clinical practice and real life duties.
You should not postpone a single post. one postponement leads to another and soon it becomes a habit.
I have written today’s post to break the habit of postponement.
I am trying to take the grip back and work as planned for this website.
It might take some time as the activities that keep me away from my site are still there.
But I would squeeze the time.

I am writing after an absence of more than a month. And I was supposed to write twice daily.
Phew!
There are certain things which hit you by surprise and hold you, not letting you do anything. You watch haplessely as things take the rein from your hands and make you serve to the conditions in stead of becoming their master.
Same things happened.
Matters slipped out of hand and priorities out of mind.
But things are back to normal now. Well! almost.
In the flurry of events that rode me, another significant occurrence of concern was death of my hard disk.
Beyond repair! Beyond retrieval.
People! DO not leave your laptop on and sleep.
In the morning Unmountable Boot Volume message may take the life out of your body.
Bad thing.
Carelessness.
No amount of grief or cursing is going to bring the data back. I wish I had a backup.
Yes! Please do not make those frowns.
I have been flogging myself throughout.
Apart from other things were two almost finished ebooks I had marked for publishing this quarter.
I need to write everything again. No! I have to think and write everything again.

As 2011 unfolds, I am laying foundation for a better year and more accomplishments.
Here are the things that I have decided to do in 2011
Productivity
I am going to make myself more productive than before. That includes making two posts per day on this blog. This posting is optional on Sundays.I want to write more and I am willing to do it.
Knowledge
I am going to read 50 books this year. Yes! That is correct. One new book per week. It would be hard on my time but I would do it anyways. All are not related to business but quite a number of them are.
I have complied the list of books that I am going to read this year and would share with you soon.
Store
Home For Profits would soon have a store of its own where it would display products for sale.
Better Reader Experience
Last year saw exit of Adsense ads from the blog content. This year its time for Clickbank contexual ads to go. They simply do not convert.
I would focus more on products that I think are useful for the business rather than letting a software decide for you.
Marketing
Home for Profits lack enough marketing. I have made enough decisions for marketing both paid and free.
Social Interaction
I made efforts to socialize but those were apparently not enough. I am going to increase my social presence.
Ebooks
There are two unfinished ebooks lying on my desktop that were supposed to be published in 2010. Sadly, I could not and I am going to publish both in the first quarter. [Read more...]
