Google Web Analytic Software Made Public

Google has announced launch of its Web analytic software to public. Urchin software is standalone version that can be installed and hosted on site.

This would allow you to keep your data private while at the same time analyzing it.

The launch was announced yesterday.

Google’s hosted web analytics is otherwise a free service hosted by Google which everybody can use and access online. This service has been there for two years.

As for now the hosted version that has been announced yesterday is available only in USA.

Ask.com To End Its Search Engine-Garry Price Leaves

Ask.com will no more be a search engine. Instead it would be reverted back to its old model of questions and answers. Barry Diller’s IAC which owns the Ask.com is cutting the job by 8 percent of the Ask workforce and killing the search engine.
