What Is Autoblogging?

Autoblogging is a term used to describe automated blogs and automated blogging. Usual blog writing involves searching for content topic and ideas, assimilation of information, reading and understanding that information and then bring out an article of your own.

But if you have inclination you can create a blog which publishes itself perpetually once you put in place the correct method and the correct tools.

I for that matter am not fan of autoblogging. I like writing and I do that on daily basis. For me my blog is a kind of  journey in my writing sphere in different fields whether it is medicine, business or self improvement. I like to write and share things and then discuss those with active readers.

I make money and while that is a significant goal every year, it is not the base on which blog is run.

But there are different kind of people with different approaches and mindsets.

They do not want to produce high quality sites and they do not want to build a reader base. Some of them do not want to go through hassle of writing. They just want to monetize the site. Its a different approach and the idea itself appears quite tempting.

If you can create 100 blogs that do not require any input or negligible input from you and you start making $1/day with each of them. That means $1000 per day. With 100 blogs this can be $30000 per month.

How To Autoblog?

Most of the content in autoblogging is republished by use of RSS feeds.

For using these feeds you need to develop central idea where you would be using feeds.  For example if you want to concentrate on Men’s clothes niche, you would like t get RSS feeds from all over the web to your website.

Articles and data feeds from affiliate networks are other sources.

You will need  an RSS feed aggregator or similar software.

And you would need a social bookmarking script that automatically submits your new blog posts to like social bookmarking sites.

More I Write, More I Can Write

Today I want to share something beautiful that I  have experienced in past one month.

As you know, beginning this year I decide to post content in advance in order to maintain regularity and also organize myself better.

Before that I used to write post every single day. The day I could not write, I missed it.

Therefore I decided that I would write and publish in advance using WordPress time stamp.

I can post important news in addition or move the stamped content forward if I need to say another post on some  particular day.

By end of first week of January, I was over with January content of this blog. [Read more...]

Does Your Site Engage Your Visitors Enough?

One of the things that I enjoy on the internet is constant influx of the change.

Everything is changing with time.

In their effort to serve users to the best of the expectation the search engines change and improve their algorithm often.

While the game demanded so, I have always thought that putting emphasis on backlinks for site ranking was fallacious method.

The good thing is that the rule is about to change. [Read more...]

What Is Wrong – Let Us Talk

This might seem a strange post in the beginning of year. But this is deliberate and well thought.

It has been quite a while that I have been writing on this blog. While the readership is good [1200 visitors per day and they are increasing], I am little uncomfortable about absence of conversations on this blog.

I have decided to take this blog to a next level this year and that cannot happen without addressing the concerns I have on this.

In comparison to the number of posts I have on this blog, I am surprised at the littleness of comments that this blog has received.

640 posts, 287 comments.

In contrast, there are more than 60000 spam comments blocked by Akismet.

Lack of comments is an issue here.

I fail to understand this phenomenon. I write my posts well [At least I try], I am not a bad writer, I do not cut and paste and research well before writing.

Posts do become popular as revealed by the stats but comments are sporadic.

After a lot of mulling and thoughts, I decided to ask this to you.

Could you please take some moments out and let me know what is wrong.

Is something wrong with content or the topics?

Is anything wrong with writing style or way I approach things?

Please do provide a feedback. Do not hesitate to tell the truth even if it appears bitter and hard.

I would wait for your feedback.

Say Enough, Stay Enough

road_to_successHow Long You Have been Blogging?

I recently cam across an interesting poll at Problogger. The question asked in the poll was

How Long Have you Been Blogging?

At the time of writing this article 18066 people had responded to that question and the figures were. It has quite a large number of people and I think that sample size should be reasonably adequate.

I came across it when I was reading an article by David Risley titled Why Nobody Cares About Your Blog. I commented on this article and then I thought it would be nice to turn that comment into article for my own readers.

Here are the interesting facts. First the snap shot. [Read more...]

Planning Your Content Ahead

foot-bridgeThis is not something that I have been doing. I never even thought about it. But past few months have left me looking for options.

For past few months, there was a setback to my activities on this.

Because suddenly my life just got busier.

It can happen to anybody. You just do not have the time to write.

Then I remembered the old saying

“Save for the rainy day”.

If you publish a blog, you need to bring up the posts regularly. That is foremost and rest of the promotional strategies are built upon this core need. [Read more...]
