Yes! Google has launched its own operating system Chrome. It is in pilot phase yet but is expected to appear with standard notebooks very soon.

Google Chrome operating system is posed again Linus and Windows.

It is hailed as most secure and most web ready operating system.

Each us loves one browser or other. I for the matter use and love Firefox so much that I often imagine why everybody is not using Firefox.

Well there are many reasons why people choose one particular thing or item for use and reasons vary from availability to affection.

But when it comes to your businesss you cannot take risks.

I just want to mention about Gadget Advisor . It is a relatively a new site, but is growing fast. Instead of publishing every tech news, the site focuses on  the product s and news that are the significant, useful, or particularly cool.

The areas covered are computer hardware, software, gadgets, and tech news. I liked the concept. Instead of wading through pages of useless stuff, you can reach what you are looking for. The reviews are nicely written like this article on universal remote control from Logitech.

But I wish if the articles could be longer and bulletted instead of short paragraphs. Make the reading easy. I lost enthusiasm in this article on network media player while I was halfway through.

Similarly this article on online backup services looks bit dry for want of subheadings.

It appears promising concept and for a while I have bookmarked it. I would update how this site develops.

I recently visited Super WareHouse while I searched for Apple Ipods.  I was amazed to see the product range they offered. pcs, notebooks, monitors, scanners, projectors, hard drives, business softwares of different kinds, networking equipments, cameras, printers etc. As per their website claims they offer more than 50,000 products of different brands like Apple, HP, Cisco, IBM, Sony, Canon, Epson, Konica, Minolta, Lexmark, Xerox and more.

Because I was intrigued I also decided to checkother thingsand started with Apple computers . When you click a product you are taken to the page that describes the product in detail. This is a very nice feature that helps the customer to make a decision. They also happened to have an expert advice if you are not sure what you are looking for. It takes you through series of questions and in the end tells you most suitable products for you. I am not very fond of such wizards as I like to do search myself but it could come in handy for the one who is confused or overwhelmed.

If you stay in US they offer free ground shipping for purchases more than $299. This service covers most of the states.

I spent quite a lot time on my search and came back to Ipod. I selected Apple Ipod Nano 4GB Silver . Let us see how does it go.

Just to mention, Super Warehouse was founded by Russell Schneider out of a 2 bedroom apartment and has grown to 16 warehouses located throughout the United States.

Saying that Microsoft’s offer devalues its worth, Yahoo has formally rejected MS’s offer. Yahoo indicated it could be lured to the negotiating table if Microsoft ups the ante.

Web has become so vast that now you need to classify the sites on the kinds of things they aim to do. I came across this classification in Wikipedia. I thought of sharing it with you. It is quite interesting.

• Affiliate: Enabled portal that renders not only its custom CMS but also syndicated content from other content providers for an agreed fee. There are usually three relationship tiers. Affiliate Agencies (e.g., Commission Junction), Advertisers (e.g., Ebay) and consumer (e.g., Yahoo).

To give you an idea most new sites that that do not offer heavy downloads would require between 1-3GB of bandwidth per month. However your traffic requirements will grow over time so it is wise to choose a wide margin.

Disk space: Again if you are not planning to store heavy files, you will hardly require beyond 5-10 MB though most of the good hosts offer you space much more than that. Do not go for “Unlimited Space” calls. However keep in mind the future. You may like to expand. But consideration of the space should not be a primary factor.

Technical support: Your host should provide you with technical support round the clock including weekends. You can check them by mailing on weekends and find how long do they take to respond. If your host does not provide you these in the package, it is not worth joining.

Additional Domains/Subdoamins: You should look for these options if you plan to host more than one website or are likely to do in near future. I had to change my host as previous one would not allow hosting of additional domains.

Server Type: In comparison to Windows Uniix based servers are cheaper, more stable and feature-laden. However for asp script, a Windows based server is more desirable.

Fee Factor: This obviously is very important. There are hosts which would charge you $25 per month and are provide you restricted features whereas better services are offered by others at $6 per month.

A costlier host need not be better and if the features you desire are provided by a reliable cheaper host then it is wise to choose the later.

I would advise you not to go for annual payment plan in the beginning. Try the host with monthly plans first and when sure of worthiness and reliability, move to annual plans because annual plans allow you to save money.

If you happen to buy from a reseller, do investigate the actual company he represents. Resellers sometime offer even a better bargain than their company.

Terms and Conditions: Always read the terms and conditions. There may be special restrictions on what you can or cannot have on your site. Just find out.

• You would need to learn a lot about working of a server and things like DNS, web server setup, security, debugging problems, logs, patching the server software. I think you should put that time in use to grow your business.
• If anything breaks, it is your own responsibility to find the problem and fix it. And meanwhile your site would be down.
• You would need to monitor your server all the time. You cannot leave for a project and then come back to find that your site is not working.

Remember! You came into this business because you wish to make a wealthy future and become independent enough to get out of that job routine rut. There is no point in starting a venture that would eat all your time and put you in a constant job again.

You started your business because you wish more time for yourself and your family.

It happens so that webmasters invest time, effort and money to promote their site and build up traffic. But many of them move on and are not actively involved in site promotion.There web site is up and running as long as they own domain and pay a hosting fee. Even if there site is not up, all the automatic marketing systems they have put in place still bring in traffic. The site gets regular visitors.
