Be Careful About The Cost When You Use Free Service

When I started my journey on the internet, I did not want to spend money on the projects. Naturally I looked for free versions of services. When I think back, I sometimes wonder how much I had lost in name of saving money.

I looked for free services at every step. I wanted free autoresponders, free CMS [There were many so I tried everyone and still not satisfied. It was long before WordPress had comeĀ  into the scene], free article submission service, free ebooks, free softwares, free logo makers, free banner creators and so on.

The result was a lot of time being spent on understanding and using the free service.

Professional logo creation was available at a small price. Instead of focusing on this task, I should have asked somebody to make for me and instead concentrate on taking the business ahead.

It was easier to purchase a theme for CMS and get special assistance rather than browsing through free themes and then looking for support in the forums for problems faced.

But being new I acted foolish and in a way timid. I was not from business background and therefore did not have a strategy from beginning.

Free attracted me and I am sure it attracts you people as well.

I am not against free services. They are good but then they are also not as friendly as the paid ones.

And if you take time spent in consideration, the free might appear very costly.
