After that it would move in days and months.

Do not let the time slip by.

I hope all of you have a plan ready and would stick to that.

Taking A Week Off – Merry Christmas

Happy ChristmasThis year I have decided to take one week off from my website work. This would be my penultimate post for this year. I would be back with post  on new year eve.

I have not done this in past 5 years – taking a voluntary off from posting. I have been orced to be irregular by pressing needs but that is a different thing.

What Would I Do?

It is just an off from daily posting. I m going to change my posting style by adding future content and that begins from Jan 1,2010.

Till now I have completed half a month content for January. I would try to write for another month in this period.

That would put me 1.5 months ahead and I can concentrate better on creation of other products and promotion in next year.

One of the advantages of future content is that you do not have to worry daily. You can work on other stuffs, afford to get involved in other needs while your blog keeps moving.

You still need to write to stay ahead but can be done at weekends or when you have more time.

I thought of this because of exigencies I had faced but it has developed into beautiful concept.

There are other things to take care of. New year is around, you get busy.

May be I would find time to read a few books.

It is time to get destressed.

I wish everyone A Merry Christmas

….And Happy New Year.

Business Planning For People Who Want To Start Their Online Business In 2010

business-planFirst of all let me emphasize that planning or  goal writing is an individual activity. No one can write goals for you. All that other person can do is give you framework and suggestion.

But the actual goals must come from you. The following discussion can only hale and guide you not make plans.

Technically speaking a business plan

  • Defines your business
  • Identifies your goals
  • Defines the way to achieve them

But because you are just starting, it is not necessary to build an ideal business plan that includes cash flow and balance sheets. Heck! I did not even know these terms properly before I started. What we are going to do here is an exercise that would give you an idea of coming things and how to manage them. [Read more...]

Doing One Thing At One Time

multi-taskAs internet marketer we tend to accomplish a lot of stuff in any given time. When I read about multitasking I became an instant disciple of it. But it has often proved to be counter productive.

Multitasking is a good concept but if you apply it in every single job you do, it bogs you down. Your attention becomes divided and your energies are concentrated poorly on every single talk you do.

I has often resulted in combined delaying of the projects often a lot more than when done individually. [Read more...]

WordPress 2.9 Is Here…. But I Would Wait Before Upgrading

wordpress2-9WordPress version 2.9 is here. What a pleasant surprise in Holiday season. It has been named  “Carmen” in honor of magical jazz vocalist Carmen McRae.

Here are some hotties from WordPress 2.9

Global Undo/”Trash” feature

It means that if you accidentally delete a post or comment you can bring it back from the grave (i.e., the Trash). This also ends those annoying “are you sure” messages we used to have on every delete.

Built-In Image Editor

Something I always wanted in WordPress. The cool new feature allows you to crop, edit, rotate, flip, and scale your images.

Batch Plugin Update & Compatibility Checking

Another time saver. You can update 10 plugins at once rather than having to do multiple clicks for each one.

WordPresss 2.9 uses  new compatibility data from the plugins directory to give you a better idea of  compatibility. Would save a lot of headaches.

Video Embeds Made Better

Just paste a URL on its own line and have it magically turn it into the proper embed code, with Oembed support for YouTube, Daily Motion, Blip.tv, Flickr, Hulu, Viddler, Qik, Revision3, Scribd, Google Video, Photobucket, PollDaddy, and WordPress.tv .

More are expected in next release.

There are a lot of other goods you can check them here

WordPress 2.9, oh so fine

But I am going to wait before I upgrade. There have been experiences in the past where my upgrade has disrupted my couple of days.

I would rather wait to ensure everything is smooth.

How To Expand Your Adsense Site Network In Most Efficient Way

adsense-dollarsAdsense has been a major source of revenue for me and it is increasing in spite of taking it off from this website.

I mention this because half of my Adsense revenue used to be from this website.

This was a performing website but I also had some non performing websites which were actually been proving detrimental.

One learns from experience. Advices are often ignored  and forgotten.

In my initial enthusiasm, I built up many websites and after putting a few posts, added Adsense to the site. [Read more...]

Geoff Ramsey, CEO and cofounder of eMarketer has predicted that online marketing spending would increase by 9%.
